“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

― W.B. Yeats

Did you feel it?

That collective moment of awe, for all of us.

So needed right now.

What a wonderful thing today, our solar eclipse.

And we have another chance on April 8, 2024 (Eastern US & Mexico)

So keep those glasses handy.

I’ve been thinking a lot these days about collective moments as I’m writing a book about what sparks us, what bring us together, what changes us. Those moments that we have in our lives that truly move us.

There are grand large ones, the biggies, the macros, of course.

Birth. Bringing a human in to this world.

First steps.

First everythings.

Graduations.

Big ideas.

Starting businesses.

Weddings.

First love.

First job.

Success.

Heartbreak.

Divorces.

Deaths.

Sickness.

Triumph over sickness.

The letting go.

The collective movements of people rising together over hate.

Moving to a new place.

Landing that role, job, relationship.

An entire world watching a solar eclipse.

All of the grand spectrum of the things of life, the list is too long to note.

I also believe in the micro-moments that change us, spark us, give us new perspectives.

They can be:

A look.

A song.

A mere gesture from a stranger.

A piece of art.

A great meal.

Someone remembering something that you forgot.

Being seen.

Being appreciated.

An emoji, text, call, letter send and received at the exact moment of need.

Wonder.

Gratitude.

A walk on the beach.

A door held open for you.

Allowing people into your life, for a moment or a lifetime.

I hope to notice the micro-moments more.

To be aware.

To be cognizant.

To capture them.

To remember them.

Moments of awe, the awesome, are what gets us out of bed in the morning.

Both macro and micro.

And I wish you many many many of the good ones.

Some of them come for us whether we are ready or not.

Each one changing us, evolving us to feel our humanity.

And many times our morality.

Collect them.

Celebrate them.

Enjoy them.

Get through them.

Accept them.

Our life is short on this planet.

And I hope we all see the positive ones

maybe a little bit more clearly today and every day.

I am blessed with so much love and light in my life. That helps me get through

Those not so good ones.

So I send a big giant AWESOME hug to you and yours on this amazing day.

Thank you lovelies. Always.

Did I say AMAZING and AWESOME??

LOL.

Thank you for giving some claps if you liked this. :)
