To dangle.

To dangle.

And I’m not talking about a participle.

But,

To offer.

To give hope.

To spark an idea or emotion.

In a moment you are lifted up.

Flattered.

Excited about what is possible,

With this motion.

The ideas churn.

The what-ifs start to brew.

There is a baited breath

Around a dangle.

Be it a job offer.

A new love.

A potential.

A renewal of what was.

A something different.

An opportunity.

The promise of something more.

When you dangle you ask someone

To trust you because you will come through.

So there is a responsibility in being

A dangler.

A responsibility to not take lightly.

To understand the greatness of what you do.

You see people like hope

They like faith

They like trust

They like it when people are true

To their word

Their offer

Their hearts.

So take heed you dastardly danglers.

You captains of uncertainty.

Your take backs

Your reschedules.

Your “made ya think so”s

Aren’t nice or kind.

They are disappointing

Cowardly

And mean.

If you are daring enough to dangle

Be brave enough to follow through.

That’s the thing.

So simple, yet so difficult.

Do you dangle?

Daringly?

And follow thru?

Thank you for giving some claps if you liked this. :)
