Heather Cook
Heather Cook, the founder, CEO, and Head Maven of Creative Maven brings over two decades of experience producing numerous events, campaigns, and experiences in the high-tech and entertainment industries. Heather also leads a charter of Community Evangelism, Engagement, and Events as a Principal PM Manager in the Business Applications & Platform Engineer Division at Microsoft. She is also a Microsoft 365 Apps and Services Microsoft MVP Alumni.
Based in Los Angeles, California, Heather enjoys teaching workshops, coaching clients, and traveling worldwide to speak on topics including marketing, technology, personal brand, personal development, healthy workplaces, and diversity & inclusion.

Heather was born and raised in the Midwest, USA, and graduated from the University of Washington School of Drama, Seattle, Washinton. She studied at Trinity College, Dublin, and can often be found chasing sunsets at her local beach in Southern California.

Heather continues to be recognized by peers and organizations for achievements as a Chief Marketing Officer and technologist. She is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) alum, and has been a part of the Forbes Business Council.
Heather is active in many advocacy groups supporting the arts and diversity; she is passionate about women’s issues, the environment, and social justice. She leads many community technology activities in Southern California.
